DAILY WEAR

Jewelry should be the finishing touch to your routine. Apply perfume, lotion, sunscreen, hairspray, and other cosmetics first, and allow them to dry completely before putting on your jewelry.

To preserve the finish, remove your jewelry before:

· Showering, bathing, or washing your hands

· Swimming in pools, the ocean, or freshwater

· Exercising or taking part in strenuous activities

· Sleeping

· Cleaning or using household chemicals

· Entering saunas, steam rooms, or other high-heat environments

Avoid direct contact with water, perspiration, perfume, cosmetics, chlorine, salt water, and harsh chemicals. Repeated exposure to moisture, friction, and chemicals may gradually affect the gold-plated finish.

HANDLE WITH CARE

Avoid dropping your jewelry or striking it against hard surfaces. Stones may chip, scratch, or loosen from their settings after impact—even those that appear highly durable.

When layering jewelry, make sure chains, stones, and metal surfaces do not rub repeatedly against one another. Friction may scratch the metal, damage delicate stones, and wear the plating over time.

Check your jewelry occasionally for loose stones, weakened clasps, or changes in its setting. If a stone moves or makes a faint tapping sound, discontinue wearing the piece.

CLEANING YOUR JEWELRY

After wearing, gently wipe your jewelry with our complimentary polish cloth or a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to remove oils, perspiration, and residue.

Avoid rubbing too firmly or polishing the same area repeatedly, as excessive friction may wear the plating.

Do not use abrasive cloths, silver polish, jewelry dips, toothpaste, alcohol, household cleaners, or other chemical cleaning products.

Do not place Freyja jewelry in an ultrasonic or steam cleaner. These methods may damage the plating, stones, adhesives, or delicate settings.

Do not soak your jewelry or scrub it with a brush. If additional cleaning is needed, lightly dampen a soft cloth with lukewarm water, gently wipe the surface, and dry the piece immediately and thoroughly.

CARING FOR DELICATE STONES

Some Freyja designs may feature natural stones or delicate materials such as pearls, opals, turquoise, or emeralds. These materials require additional care because they may be porous, soft, or sensitive to moisture, heat, and chemicals.

For pieces containing delicate stones:

· Keep them away from water, perfume, cosmetics, and cleaning products

· Do not soak, scrub, steam, or ultrasonically clean them

· Wipe them gently with our complimentary polish cloth or a soft, dry cloth after wear

· Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, heat, or sudden temperature changes

· Store them separately to prevent scratching or impact

STORING YOUR JEWELRY

Store each piece separately in its Freyja pouch or box, away from direct sunlight, humidity, and extreme temperatures.

Keep chains fastened and laid flat to reduce tangling. Avoid storing jewelry loosely together, as metal surfaces and stones may scratch one another.

For travel, place each piece in an individual pouch and make sure it cannot move freely or come into contact with other jewelry.
